About Handpicked Reviews
Handpicked Reviews publishes buying guides for people who want to buy once and stop researching. Every guide is signed by an editor who owns one category, and every ranking is built from criteria we publish.
What we do
We follow the current Amazon catalogue in a category, compare the models that are genuinely in stock, and rank them on fit, claim honesty, value signals and buyer experience. Each guide names a top pick and a runner-up, because the right answer depends on the shopper's constraints rather than on a single score.
How we work
Our editors choose the categories they cover and the criteria they weight. Product data such as price, availability, specifications and listing images comes from the affiliate catalogue this site is part of, which is the same information a shopper sees on the product page. We do not run a laboratory and we never claim that a product was physically tested. Where a judgement rests on reported experience rather than our own measurement, we say so in the entry.
Who is accountable
Every guide and article carries a byline, and that byline links to the editor's profile: the single category they own and everything they have published. The full roster is on the experts page.
How we make money
Handpicked Reviews earns a commission when a reader buys through some of the links on this site. It costs you nothing extra, and it never decides a ranking. The criteria are applied before any link is added, and a product is never moved up because it pays more. When a price or an availability change is large enough to alter a ranking, we update the guide.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, whether a discontinued model, a specification we misread or a price that is far off, tell us through the contact page. We correct the entry rather than quietly deleting it.
