Best Smart Scales (Sep 2026)

Four smart scales, $17 to $64, scored on repeatability between weigh-ins, app data export and how many of the advertised body-composition metrics are measured rather than estimated. HPR 9.2 · Etekcity Smart Scale for Body Weight and Fat · $64 — first because it holds the same reading across three consecutive weigh-ins, syncs reliably, and exports history rather than locking it in the app. It is also the most-reviewed model in this category by a wide margin. HPR 9.0 · Etekcity Upgraded Smart Scale · $40 — the same platform and app at a lower price. HPR 8.8 · Etekcity Smart Scale, Body Fat · $24 — the cheapest entry that still measures consistently. Two cautions. Body-fat and visceral-fat numbers from a foot-to-foot scale are estimates derived from impedance, not measurements; treat trends as the signal, not the absolute number. And weigh at the same time of day — hydration swings move the reading more than anything else.
